GEORGIA DESIGN AWARD HOME OFFICE- GOLD

Originally built in 1980, this Cape Cod–style residence was thoughtfully reimagined to support the dynamic needs of a large, active family while preserving the warmth and familiarity of its architectural roots. What began as a traditional structure has been transformed into a layered, highly curated home that feels both elevated and deeply personal.

The award-winning design balances sophistication with livability. Architectural refinements and tailored millwork introduce a sense of permanence, while carefully considered space planning enhances flow, functionality, and everyday ease. Gathering spaces were expanded and redefined to encourage connection — from relaxed family mornings to holiday celebrations filled with guests.

Each room reflects intentional curation. Antiques with history and character are thoughtfully paired with contemporary furnishings, creating a dialogue between past and present. Personalized detailing — from custom cabinetry to bespoke upholstery and curated art — gives the home a distinctive identity rooted in the family’s story. A nuanced palette, layered textures, and refined finishes elevate the interiors without sacrificing comfort or approachability.

The result is a sophisticated yet welcoming home: timeless in character, highly functional in design, and rich with thoughtful details that make daily life both beautiful and effortless.
